This NEW patented safety hoof Stand was a custom request from an experienced Sydney Farrier/ bare foot trimming instructor(See the bottom of the page for details)
After designing and sending out for testing I have found this design of hoof stand to be extremely popular, with both the un-experienced and professional farriers/hoof trimmers.

This hoof stand will collapse flat when knocked over, so there is nothing dangerous for you or your horse to fall or trip on, this feature also allows for easy transportation.
*BUILT TOUGH –
Built from high Quality 40mmx40mm rhs galvanized steel, This hoof stand has galvanized slides so it will not rust like some inferior designs. The hoof stand is then painted with an Australian standard 2 PAC yellow - Its built to last! and weighting in at only 3.5kgs it easy to transport and to work with.

*COMFORT – Features a tough 6.5mm reinforced rubber cradle for added comfort for the horse.(not a sling) Other attachments are available.
Plus a thick rubber plug on a second slide to trim the sides of the hoof, so your horse will never touch steel.
*UNIVERSAL- Built to suit ALL horses large and small..
*VERY STABLE- 4 raised feet so you can work on uneven, rocky ground or long grass. The legs will bite into the ground as soon as there is weight put onto the stand, So it will not fall over under normal operation. If the horse is left unattended whilst still on the hoof stand and the horse decides to move, the stand will collapse flat on the ground leaving no danger for the horse.

This stand was the idea of a bright Farrier on the central coast named Darren Robertson (The hoof smith) Darren is using this design for his bare foot trimming classes, and wanted the safest possible stand for his students. This farrier stand was built by Wingham Welding Works with the help of qualified Farriers. My focus point in this design was quality and complete safety for the trimmer and the horse.
